Well ladies I will soon no longer be able to go biking every day as the snow is coming!! with being serious about continuing my weight loss over the winter I am need of something I can do indoors. I am not a gym person at all I know that would not work for me. So I am thinking of buying a recumbant bike. What kind of equiptment do you all own and would you reccomend it? TIA

Im not sure what to recommend, cause I am really bad at consistency when it comes to exercising at home........LOL


But I can tell ya what I own


I have a treadmill......which, when I use it, is great! I can be a walking away and watch tv at the same time..makes it seem to go by much faster


I have exercise tapes, mostly old ones, like richard simmons dancin to the oldies or whatever the name is, cant remember....lol That tells ya how long ago I used it......but when I first started doing the tape, because of the music, I loved it, and actually used it SO much that I really only stopped using it because....one it got too easy.....(NOT true right now though), and two, I am SOOO sick of the songs now.........LOL But that took awhile, I had the tape when it was fairly new


I have all sorts of exercise tapes really, but the dancing one is the only one I consistently used.......I found my pilates one way too hard on my neck and back.......besides the point when I would get on the floor, my cat would be right in there trying to lay on me.........not good with a 17 pound cat!!


I also have some weights, 5 pound wrist/ankle ones, they just strap on..........these are great, sometimes I wear them when I do housework, or just do reps during commercial breaks on tv


can ya see I watch tv a lot........LOL
