Biked outside for 35 mintues I usually do 45 but crap it is getting cold here and I felt like the wind was gonna rip my skin off! lol I spent 220$ today on an indoor recumbant bike so that I can keep up my newfound exercise routine in the long cold winter to come!

Coli - 30 - Issaquah, WA (Currently in central IL, going home tomorrow :)

I haven't done much exercise at all in the last few weeks. Being on vacation and not having a travel pass for Curves (long story) meant that I had to find other exercise and the treadmill sitting right next to me just never called my name. not to mention I've been busy almost the whole time (I guess some of what I've done would be exercise, but maybe 10 minutes a day....so not enough)

I start my new job on Monday and I'm going to have to figure out what the best exercise plan is once I get going there. Stopping on the way home is still probably the best option altho I have meetings on Monday and Tuesday night, but after that, I should have a fairly normal schedule. Further commute, probably the option of longer hours (at time and a half so it's worth it!) and different work will probably take up a lot of my time for a while, but I'm confident I'll be able to get a workout schedule back together...heaven knows I need it badly!

Have a GREAT workout!

I'm new. My name is Kathryn and I'm 31. I have a son who turned one last year. I enjoy exercise and I eat right but I have a problem with portion control.

Short term goal... I am training for a half marathon in a month and I've got the distance down but I think if I could lose even 5 lbs before the race it would make a difference to my knees. Long term, I would like to lose about 30 lbs but I need help! I need a buddy to hold me accountable.

This morning I did the elliptical trainer for 30 minutes. I will start counting calories tomorrow.

Can someone keep me straight for a while until I get over the hard part? You know, those first two weeks when you're so hungry all the time and it's so easy to quit?
