I read in someone's post where they wished someone would start a food journal thing for everyone......why not do it now! :)

I seen where you had a hotdog for lunch...I use to enjoy the occassional hotdog on the grill but due to the sodium count and what not I no longer do that. Sooooo what is the nutrition info of a vegan dog? Is there a specific brand you prefer to others?

Thanks so much for posting your foods! :)

Thanks for the reply my friend! I cannot take the credit for opening this as I saw in someone elses post that they wished someone would open one. I waited a while and thought heck I could be that someone! I have been journaling since April and it helps me so much. The only thing I don't journal is my water intake and thats just cuz I get tired of counting the ounces! LOL!!! Im gonna try that broccoli salad for tomorrow nights dinner even my DH said it sounded good and he is slowly adjusting to our new way of eating. I play around alot with Mrs. Dash seasoning I really like the fiesta seasoning and there is no salt in it! This has been a rough adjustment for myself and my DH as we were takeout people all meals everyday and now I don't know what I saw in it!

Thanks again! I can't wait to read the rest of your posts!

Hi! Thanks for asking. I like Lightlife Smart Dogs. Just for comparison, I made a nutritional chart of an Oscar Mayer hot dog and a Smart Dog:
