Saturday's Sighs ... (m)
Even though I'm up early for a day off, I'm sighing as I sip my hot tea, thankful. What reasons do you have for being thankful that it's Saturday? Is your favorite yearly craft show today? Are you just going to ramble around the house today? Or are you starting a long needed vacation like Mac? Thanks, Sammi

that everyone will be back at work on Monday, so we will have the ususal 4 there instead of 2 of us managing the work(they couldnt get a replacement, and holidays were booked)....and I will have a whole day and a half to relax....plus kids back at school next week.so more time, hopefully..Sue
Lurker Here ... (m)
...I've been lurking around these boards for awhile and decided to start by answering a simple, yet possibly complicated question. I didn't have to do anything today, no work, no laundry, (did it yesterday), and I have a date tonight. That's definitely worth sighing about. Liz
New Here ...
I was reading through the exercises, thinking about how I could drum up a story with the middle aged man, woman evicted, and a girl with a snake. But I decided that this post looked easier to answer today. I'm sighing because it IS SATURDAY! Yippee! Ginger
Oh, Me Too, Sue, Me Too! n/t

Welcome To The SSB, Ginger...(m)
I'm glad you posted here. I'm real glad it's Saturday! You can do any of the exercises here, even find one on the archived boards, then post your submission on the current board. Or you may submit a short story for critique. We're all pretty critique-friendly here. Welcome! Sammi
Welcome, Ginger..(m)
I'm pretty new here, too, but I have found the people on the board very helpful and supportive.I found the big exercises too daunting to start with, so I have started doing the "tiny Tuesday" weekly exercise,(abbreviated TT) which is 500 words or less on a specific topic..I've found I can cope with that.. this weeks exercise is below or in the archves,, but it is "message in a bottle"(any kind of bottle/jar etc)..Hope you stick around, Sue
Hi, Liz, hope you stay around...n/t
