TINY TUESDAY (m)
In rounding up the writing with our senses series, let's write a scene or short story that concentrates on touch/skin.
Happy writing,

Thank you, and happy to be here! (n/t)
Thank you! The only part I never did was (m)
Bonking the fish on the head with the club. Too cruel! Dad always did that part and I felt so sorry for the fish. Several times the fish would flip flop a minute or two after he'd left it. Freaked me out!
Have a good day and thank you for reading my TT, Eyewrite
Wow is right (m)
You pulled me in with a definite sense of presence that I too was shocked by the ending. I shivered as I read the piece.
Nice work! Have a good day,

You got me teary (m)
At first I though he was your baby, then okay, husband, then oh no it's a funeral! How very sad. You managed to move me in just a short piece. Well done!
Have a good day, Eyewrite
The Coffee Break (just for fun)
His naked twenty-year-old body, lean and taut, with only a slight glitter of blonde hair on his chest straddles her forty-six year old body that is full in all the right places. Her breasts have only suckled one child in their lifetime, and therefore remain firm barely leaning toward her arms. Her hips ask to be held. Her arms full and strong wrap around his wrists, her hands tucked under her head. On his hands and knees, his blonde curly hair framing his face looms just above hers, his beautiful teeth clicking as he teases her. He asks, “Tell me how I can be a good lover to you?”
Never in her life did anyone ask her what she wanted, and now this beautiful man-child wants to please her. Oh the fortune, oh the joy. She coos to him, “Make love to me, but don’t use your hands.” His smile assures her that he understands.
He says, “You must also obey this new law.”
“And so it is, my prince.”
He leans his head down and begins to tickle her breasts with his golden locks. She raises her head so that she can bury her nose in his hair that smells like vanilla. Her nipples erect, he licks each one, then runs his tongue down the center of her belly, where she arches up to deepen the caress.
“Excuse me miss, miss? Do I know you?”
Looking down into her lap she sees her angora hat twisted into a giant knot around her hands. She looks at the hand resting on her table, follows up the arm that is attached to a blonde, handsome man. The same man who had been sitting two tables away from her. “Excuse me, what did you say?”
“I asked if we knew each other. You’ve been staring at me for some time now, and for the life of me I don’t remember meeting you before.”
“No, no I was just in deep thought. I’m so sorry I was staring at you, I didn’t realize.”
“Well, I wanted to be sure. You do look familiar.”
“Oh my goodness, look at the time.” She drinks the last of her vanilla latte, fishing a five-dollar bill out of her coat pocket that she places on the table. She jumps up to go, and he says, “I sorry you have to go, I would have like to have met you. Can I have your name to make it official?”
“I’m sorry, I have to get back to work. I’m late.” She begins to weave her way between the tables, and hears him say, “May we meet each other sometime again?”
As she steps out onto the sidewalk she looks back over her shoulder to see him blazing his smile at her. And she thinks, yes, maybe in another lifetime.
...and it is just like that! Enjoyed your story. kat (n/t)
Excellent descriptions...reminded me of my one and only fish cleaning exp. kat (n/t)
Great TT Mac, I was there with you. kat (n/t)
Hah! If I had a coffee I'd have spilled it on the keyboard! (m)
At first I thought, mmm, sounds good. Then I thought, hey, can we talk about this stuff on iVillage? Then I got really wrapped up in it. Then, POW, she comes to in the coffee shop and I tell you it's a good thing I wasn't holding a drink right then.
Fantastic work! I would like to write like that.
Have a great day (or maybe you've already had a great one!)
