When is the world going to wake up and DO SOMETHING about Iran?? I have no doubt they are working towards making a nuclear bomb. I mean..if their program was all peaceful, why wouldn't they cooperate?

I don't know Jen.. but if Obama is President.. I wonder if he'll be considered a "War monger" for attempting to do something about Iran..?

Janet and Gracie's mom here's what we are going to do. Janet were going to take your kids sign them up and send them over to Iran(trained of course). Gracie's mom your husband can join tomorrow and get himself trained and ready to go. Don't worry we're NOT going to just send your family we are going to bring back the draft and fortify our forces.

I never said "Let's jump into war." If there's a diplomatic solution, I'd like to see that happen. Don't you think it's the least bit strange that Iran won't cooperate with IAEA inspectors??

By the way, my husband has served. He spent 7 years in the National Guard, and has talked about re-enlisting. If he chooses to do that, I'll support him.

Are you implying my husbands service is something less because he isn't going to Iraq right now? Or that if he was going to Iraq after he re-enlisted that I wouldn't support him?

"It sickens me that some people are for the war BUT against bringing the draft back."

Well, get sick all you want, but there are PLENTY of soldiers and sailors (mostly enlisted guys) who do NOT want to see the draft re-instated. I don't know, maybe decent pay and nice enlistment bonuses will do the trick.

I'm for finishing what we've started AND I am against bringing the draft back to do so. I don't want my husband working along someone with a piss-poor attitude about being there. It's bad for morale and its downright dangerous.

Please point out a soldier who thinks we can invade more countries without bringing the draft back. Like you, I know a lot of soldiers who are FOR bringing the draft

No, but it is different.
