I was at Chilli's on Friday and noticed several large groups of people and all of them were drinking. So they have no sober driver!

I know what you mean. My son's Ex girlfriend's DH lost his liscense for at least 2 years because of numerous DUI's. when he gets his license he will have to have a breathylzer hooked up to his car and must bow into it before he can start the car. We had a State Represenative who was drunk and killed a man, he thought he hit a Stop sign. He left the scene, lied to his Ins. company never told the truth for over 6 months. I think he maybe served 6 months in jaill, and had to go to ARD classes, and of course he is no longer a State Represenative.

I am in agreeance with you all. Laws need to be stricter! I think your first offence, you should loose it for 10 years. The second time it's gone forever. This is assuming no one else is hurt in a car accident. If someone is driving drunk and kills or hurts people I think it should be straight to prison without the chance to get out.

I like to go out and have a good time as much as the next person, but a DD should be common sense in all situations.

I don't recall saying that. I don't care if they did it once or a dozen times. It only takes once to kill someone and why stop just because you get caught. Why even start??

My best friend is a police officer and she said she'd be rich if she had a dollar for everyone who had just "a beer or two". An experienced officer can tell if someone has had to much. If your above the legal limit your above it plain and simple. I am willing to take a taxi home if I've have consumed alcohol so why shouldn't everyone?
