The Supreme Court denied a request that they delay allowing gay marriages until after whatever will happen in the November election.

Hmmm...I understand the reasoning behind it...but I do think it's pretty sad. I had a friend get married in SF only to have their marriage certificate be invalidated. I just think, what a roller coaster, you know? If it were me, and I was doing it because I REALLY wanted the marriage certificate (as opposed to going ahead with it because I don't care whether or not it's recognized by the state) then I would wait until after November.

I do think the climate here in CA has changed though, and I doubt it will pass.
