Obama/Clinton ticket in the future?

I'm just curious. Do you think they will team up, or do you think he will pick someone else for his running mate? I heard it reported that today she told a delegation of people from NY that she'd be open to being his VP, and I've heard him say "She'd be on anybody's short list." I just don't know if it will come to pass though. I'm interested to see who he picks, just like I'm interested in seeing who McCain picks.

If he's smart, he won't do it. I think it's rather obvious that more people don't like her than do...so I imagine he'd lose more votes than he'd gain by having her be his vp...
But politicians are dumb sometimes, so who knows?
I love my TaterTod!!
I don't know if it would be "dumb" from a vote-getting standpoint. I think it would make the majority of the democratic party happy to see both of them on the same ticket.
I also think it would be unstoppable and they'd win.
The only thing I seriously doubt is that Clinton would be happy to play the typically behind-the-scenes roll of VP. She may ACT like she's willing to, but I think it would be a nightmarish choice for Obama. Then again, now that I think about it, with all the mud they flew at each other that just might be their undoing in the General Election Campaign season.
Oh...and if he DOES choose her, I rescind my previous statement that my vote is still up for grabs. Together they'd be just far too much for me ;)
I imagine you're not the only one who feels like that. His choice will be very important, and I just read he's appointed a team to help pick a vp.

I would hope he would make a better choice than HRC...I just don't see the whole "Dream Team" angle.
I've been leaning towards Obama, but if he picks her as his vp, no way is he getting my vote.

"Obama can't really want the pair of Clintons looking over his shoulder for the next 4 years...."
Exactly!
Thanks for the post! This dream ticket was something to desire early in the race, but now NO it would be a mistake for both. I think Obama is doing the right thing letting his team pick suitable ppl for selection.
Mrs. Clinton ran a good strong race and made a lot of women proud to know that we can achive this kinds of status, but her time has come and gone. So right now she needs
