I think HC would be wise to stay out of his administration completely. If Obama does make it to the White House, HC can keep going in the Senate, where she actually has some power. Then in another 8 years she can try again if she feels like it, without any connection to his administration.
If he DOESN'T win the presidency, she can come back in 2008 and say, "I told you he was unelectable." And the superdelegates would realize that they should listen to her the second time around IMO.
It appears to me that VPs don't do well if they run for the presidency afterward. The only successful one I can remember since the 1940s is Bush 41--and he was a one-term president. If a VP takes office after the death of the president (note Truman after Roosevelt and Johnson after

Absolutely - I agree.
And I think Clinton really would PREFER to remain in the Senate.
There are a few choices I like - Webb is probably one of them.
Good God no. I live in NY state (where Clinton is currently Senator). The woman should not be anywhere near public office, much less President or VP. The thought actually makes me feel sick.
