June 15) - One week into the general election, the polls show a dead heat. But many presidential scholars doubt that John McCain stands much of a chance, if any.

Do you think you'd feel different if it said McCain would win? I wondered if I would have felt the same if the article was in favor of McCain. I wonder if we (myself included) give an article more serious consideration if it supports the nominee we favor?

I don't see what my screen name has to do with it. McCain is NOT a conservative.


Why would anyone (not the poster -- just anyone in general) assume that I would be a McCain supporter? He has a long history of voting with the left.
