Cable channel TV One will be covering only the Democratic convention. This is a station whose viewing audience and programming are predominantly African-American. The idea is that they will be covering the convention

Well, I don't get that network, but - considering that it's an African-American network, I think it makes sense.

Wonder why the Fairness Doctrine doesn't cover this?

I personally don't care.. but the double standard is amazing.

I don't think it's so much democratic vs republican, or liberal vs conservative - it's an African-American channel, covering what they believe to be an African-American event.

I think it is sad to believe that all African Americans are going to vote for Obama, then you hear the stories of people not voting for Obama because he is an African American.

To me, it would be in their best interest to show both, as to not make it a race issue, but an issue of policies.

I only say it because we have 'friends' who have always been very liberal and because Obama is African American they are voting for McCain.

Ummm, because I don't believe the fairness doctrine is currently policy.

I disagree with you, but I'm pretty sure
