This is really in response to the person who posted that statement that Obama was not a citizen and "hoped it would get people's attention"... if there is anyone who needs to be concerned about qualifying as a natural-born U.S. citizen, it would be Senator McCain.

You are a natural born citizen of the United States if you are born to citizens of the United States.

So...our air conditioner is kaput! And in 95+ degree weather no less! This is NOT acceptable for a woman going thru fertility drug induced hot flashes!!!

On a positive note, the upstairs AC still works, so at least I can SLEEP comfortably.

No, no fertility problems here. DH had the big V last year because a basketball team is plenty big enough, tyvm ;)

It's because of how blessed I've been I decided to be a gestational surrogate. I'm currently on Lupron and today will be my first estrogen shot....I'm skeered. It's a big fat needle and I have to do it myself.....dh is a freaking baby!

See, I will forever like you now. That is the most AWESOME gift you can give to someone. Are you on Estradal right now? Are you having to go to the doctor everyday or not? When I did one of my cycles it was every day BUT dd was in school so it was a little easier. I wish you the BEST of luck and I am totally pulling for you and the potential parents. I am dork but I am excited. Once you go through IF procedures you get a little goofy when others are going through them, sorry.

Awww, shucks. Thanks Lisa :)

I start the Estraidol today... I saw the doc a week ago for a trans vag ultrasound, and another one today. I don't go in again for another 10 days for my blood work and final ultrasound. Then mid august is the planned time for the transfer of the embryos. I invited the mom to come to the transfer appointment with me because my dh is going to stay home with the kiddos. We've only talked on the phone and internet, so I'm excited to meet her in person :)

Any advice for the IM injections? I've heard the ladies on the IVF board say to ice it BEFORE the shot....but that just reminds me of trying to cut thru a frozen piece of meat...much easier to do it at room temperature, ya know? I think the nurse at my clinic actually said to warm it first, then ice it AFTER the injection. any tips?
