I have to agree with you. I think it's way too simplistic to say that one party or the other is responsible for any facet of the state of our country. There is plenty of "blame" to go around. There was the general shambles that our military was allowed to deteriorate to under Clinton (only changing the direction and acknowledging the general slide in his last year or so in office). Then, defense spending was increased dramatically, under Clinton, but the big increases didn't take effect until GW took office. Then, 9 months later the terrorist attacks and now we need the military in a big way, so more money, more quickly. The Republicans under their watch spent, and spent some more, even when not considering defense spending. And let's not forget some of America's citizens that seem hell bent on spending themselves into total financial ruin (all helped along by corporate greed and irresponsibility) that left us all paying the bills of their bad decisions. We could play woulda, coulda, shoulda all day, but the real question is what are we gonna do now?
Clearly it is not as simple as that, but my point was that I never hear Republicans taking responsibility for anything- even after having so much power for so long.

I'm imagining this is occuring because Hannity or
I for one have never blamed one side over the other.

I'm sure there are plenty of Republicans who have at least personally taken responsibility for any wrong doing or poor decisions
I totally understand what you are all saying - the problems are from both sides.
<<{the Democrats have been to blame with the congress these last two years.}
