I saw both interviews, she said it in both. She added in the interview with Katie Couric that not only can you see Russia from her state BUT that Russian planes fly over Alaskan airspace all the time.
Of course she can see Alaska from her house - she lives in Alaska. Guess what - I can see Maryland from my house. AND - if I drive less than two miles south of my house, I can see the Capitol building. I guess that makes me sort of like a senator, huh? I should drive into DC this afternoon and go see if I can help with this bailout mess since I am such an expert based on my proximity.
Well you probably are an expert - don't you manage to balance your budget every month? So guess we are fiscal experts as well cause we know you can't spend more than you take in forever.
