Not to be too rude about the issue, but at this point, it doesn't surprise me at all that McCain has that attitude. He has contradicted himself DAILY since the financial crisis two weeks ago, and has contradicted many of the positions since winnind the nomination that won him the title of maverick in the first place.

Even his campaign spokesperson on Meet the Press today said the "McCain of the past week is the real McCain" when asked about his waffling . I don't think McCain can handle having to be held accountable to his WORDS. I think this is why he consistently refers to his RECORD. He has a 25-year pro-life RECORD, but was supportive of a woman's right to choose and upholding Roe vm Wade in his political campaign before the 2000 election. No matter how many times he has touted his "record", people I know still believe that he is pro-choice. I have NO idea what he is, to tell the truth.

Hopefully Palin can stand up and say "Although I SUPPORT his position on all of the issues, Senator McCain and I don't agree on everything".

that was NOT a retraction but a clarification that LIKE Palin SAID we WOULD do whatever it takes to protect America...OBAMA announced on National Television that he would attack Pakistan...NOT SMART! Especially without some specific catalyst to start a war! He sounded MORE REPUBLICAN than JOHN MCCAIN!

I am far from an Obama supporter, but can you tone it down a little bit?
