Can someone outline the pros and cons to the bill passing in dumby terms particularly its effects on the economy?

NO.

And don't believe anyone who says they can.

No one outside those doors knows EXACTLY what is IN the bill, so no one can say how it will affect anything. And no one can predict anything with regard to the economy, because this is one big huge first. I mean, wasn't the Second Great Depression supposed to hit on Monday?

We the People are out of the loop as far as what has been happening at the corporate levels of these companies, We the People are out of the loop as far as what involvement, legal or illegal, our elected and appointed officials have in that mess, and we are out of the conversation as to how to fix it.

That, in my opinion, IS the cause of this mess. We let our government conduct our business without knowing what they are doing with our country. And now they think they don't have to tell us what they are doing until AFTER they've done it, with OUR money we haven't even paid to them yet!

There's nothing really to know, other than that we don't know anything except what they want us to. To me, that's the cause of all of this.

The only thing that can bring this country down is corruption from within. I think that's exactly what we have on our hands, and it happened right under our noses with our tacit permission to do our business while we bury our heads in the sand.

No problem - that's what I thought. It does seem a bit involved to say the least lol.
