They don't seem to agree with each other on anything except that they are "mavericks" and are going to "ruffle some feathers."

I totally agree. They need to meet up somewhere and make sure they are on the same page.

I actually feel badly for McCain and agree with this undercurrent of rumors suggesting that Palin may be an unusually ambitious woman

Considering the number of times Obama has had to restate or explain or otherwise correct something Biden has said on the campaign trail, this, to me, is a non-issue.
