There is so much to be concerned about.
I mistakenly forgot to add the war in Iraq. It seems like we don't hear much about that from either candidate. Maybe if we could
"There is so much to be concerned about. "
Yep, that is why I voted Other.
Can you IMAGINE what would happen to our failing economy if we were attacked
Can you IMAGINE what would happen to our failing economy if we were attacked again like 9/11?!!!
I voted other. The most important issues for me are Homeland Security and National Security. Obama has stated that he will cut our unproven missile defense program, he will slow the development of future combat systems, and he will destroy our nuclear weapons. (http://www.missilethreat.com/archives/id.7086/detail.asp) Obama has stated that he will only provide resources for missile defense once "we are positive the technology will protect the American public." We cannot wait until "we are positive the technology will protect" us to provide resources. Most missile defense systems in our country are unproven and simply serve as a deterrent. Barney Frank want to cut defense spending by 25%. Biden has stated, "I'll tell you what we cannot afford . . . . A trillion dollar commitment to 'Star Wars,' new nuclear weapons, a thousand-ship Navy, the F-22 Raptor." According to the following article, we cannot afford all of this now: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122514387247773577.html?mod=rss_Global_View. Therefore, further budget cuts would be very damaging. If Obama, Biden, and Frank fulfill the promises they have made, they will leave our country completely defenseless. Also, many of the changes that they are proposing are nearly irreversible.
