It was a very nice video but of course, there are also many other soldiers and veterans who support Obama and believe that he is better for our country.
I watched 20 seconds of that and it doesn't change the fact that my SO, who also spent 12 months in Iraq and is a proud veteran, along with all of my other friends both active and incative in the military are supporting Barack Obama. Does that make them any less patriotic? Nope, they just see the issue differently.
You know what's interesting? If you do a search on youtube of "veterans for Obama" and then "veterans for McCain" you can see on just the first results page alone, a huge difference! The Obama search brings up positive videos of veterans supporting Obama but most of the videos on the McCain results page are veterans against McCain.
That is really interesting! Thanks for bringing that up.
Now that I think about it though, it doesn't surprise me. I can't remember where I read this, but I remember reading that more active-duty military members have donated to Obama's campaign than to McCain's campaign.
The whole "if you don't support the war , than you don't support the troops" makes me angry. My husband has been to Iraq twice and we are both voting for Obama. If the President

Well, I guess I am finished with lurking on this board.....I am so tired of all the jabs, that you can't possibly be patriotic if you support Obama.

I know I posted that information on this board at one point.
