Did anyone else see the clip of Bill Kristol on the Daily Show where he denies that Obama is a socialist or a radical and states that neither is a reason to vote for or against him?

Kristol goes on to say that Obama would be a "conventionally liberal president".

(As an aside, he is "keeping hope alive" that McCain may actually win.)

I didn't see it, but I'm wondering what point you're trying to make?

The point I was trying to make is that even Bill Kristol doesn't believe that Obama is a socialist or a radical and that neither of those is a reason to vote for or against Obama.

Since he a a very conservative political commentator, I thought his views are relevant. Many threads on iVillage comment on Obama as a socialist or a radical as if there is some truth to it. I think Kristol's comments deny that outright.

Clear as mud now? ;)

As an aside, even McCain himself doesn't believe Obama is a "socialist", and said so the other day.

Of those who do think Obama is a socialist, I am left wondering what they think of McCain's economics skills if he supposedly can't even tell the difference.
