The Markets are always going to fluctuate up to and right after an election, but because we have a real economic crisis right now it is interesting to watch.

Just my Humble opinion, but I would said that

The fluctuations in the markets in the last 2 months had nothing to do with the election. Now, after 2 days, you're ready to pronouce that it's Barack's fault that the markets are down again? Forgive me, but if you used that kind of evidence to draw a conclusion for a college paper, I'm afraid you would not get a very good grade.

I'm just curious...but did you expect the markets to repair themselves as soon as Obama or McCain were elected? We are in a financial crisis.....I never expected them to rebound and stabalize simply because the election is over. We are in for some hard times still....but I hope it doesnt last too much longer. So many are hurting.

No I wasn't expecting them to make a huge recovery.

No need to apologize....I was honestly curious. You may be right that some are taking a wait and see approach to investing. I am sorry if you felt attacked. I was only asking a question....not trying to come after you. With market volitity at a historic level.....it may take longer than it has in the past to see any sort of bounce.

The market has fallen 2 days in a row since the election and over 400 points each day!

Well if it makes you feel any better, Fox News acknowleged this morning that the market woes "might not be caused by Obama".

How generous of them, since Bush is the one in office.
