I loved the way Lisa (m)

was finding reasons to break up with him but then decides they're right for each other when he proposes. Love can do strange things, can't it?

Good story, Kat.

Hey Mac...(m)

Oh, my Christmas was exceptional. My boy, (just turned 18 and finishing high school back in Oregon) is home for the holidays. We went up to Big Bear (12/22-12/26) for winter weather, skiing, and toasting the holiday's~mellows and all.

The skiing was awesome, and my son made us go and get another Christmas tree for our cabin. Then he made us open two of our gifts on the 22nd. Tree ornaments-A mother pegunin looking down on her baby (both wearing earmuffs, for me), and a snowman with "Dad, 2001" on it for his pop. Then we strung popcorn and multi-colored mini-mellows for garland, added a few HUGE pinecones, and had an old fashion tree. And here I was worried that he would come back older, and less interested in being with his parents...whew! Still my boy.

The boys are downstairs watching a hockey game, so I took this opportunity to catch up with the board and to get some words down on paper...(my New Year's Resolution for 2001-"write something everyday").

How about your Christmas?

Thanks for asking Mac. Good to be writing... kat

What a wonderful time (m)

The old-fashioned tree, skiing and having your son with you sure sounds perfect.

I had a low-keyed Christmas. Although I waited to stay in my pajamas for four days, I was forced to leave the house a couple of times-LOL. But I did get a new desk as my "biggie" present so now I feel motivated to get some serious writing done.

Well...(m)

...I was down there in that gutter with y'all too. I think if you expanded this and did add a little spice, you know where, that this could work into a very publishable piece. Good job, Linda. Sammi

That's scary but might be true (although Frances was Virginia in my story). Thanks for reading it and your comments,

Mac
