Thursday's Field Trip (m)
As Maria suggested, let’s add a little “spice” to the Thursday Field Trip. This week let’s go to the gift return line at Wal-Mart and write a short scene. Think about what you would see and hear (and smell if you’re behind the big fat guy who hasn’t bathed in three weeks-LOL).
Happy writing,
Mac

Just the response I was hoping for...glad you had fun! (n/t)
I'm so glad it gave you the giggles...
Hey Mac, thanks for the read and comments. I didn't not see the skit with the Al Gore Chia, but I had a good friend in grade school whose mother collected those things...they gave me the creeps, and I hated to spend the night at her house. I swore they'd come to life at night and nibble on my fingers and toes!
eeekkk!!
Thanks again! kat
Oh......my side hurts from laughing so hard ....great job n/t
You know me (m)
I like to keep the reader guessing LOL
thanks for reading and the comments
Maria
D'oh! It's McDonald's, not Macdonald's.... sorry everybody. (nt)
Thanks! Glad you liked it. (nt)
The pizza was ordered by the overweight woman (m)
Thanks for the pointers, it looks like in my spontaneous burst of creativity I neglected to edit well, oh heck with it, I rushed through the story and then posted LOL
Katieica is the name my 17 year old has on her Wal-mart badge. She got tired of people calling her Katie so when her friend Jessica lost the ica from her name she put it on hers. She pronounces it Katie-ica
She also works at the service desk and comes home with some comical stories and I know that she will get a hoot out of your and Kats story!!!!
Thanks for reading
Maria
Thanks Kat! I'm glad you liked it n/t
Work on your endings??? (m)
I think not! This was a great ending, and thank god we weren't there on the same day. The planet's would have aligned and Wal-Mart would have imploded!! Or we would have heard that mysterious voice from "Outter Limits" speaking over the PA system...scary either way!
Have a great day, eyewrite! Kat
Very entertaining (m)
and full of lively characters. I liked your ending. But since you mentioned this is an area you want to work on, I thought of this suggestion. What if instead of going for coffee your narrator and the minister swap items? He can use the briefs as rags as he suggested to her and she tells him she can use the cups to do crafts with the kids. Just a thought.
Thanks for the funny read,
Mac
