) Is there anything about you that needs a “tune-up”? At my age, just about everything.

2) What’s your favorite candy bar? Well, I love Heath bars, but I don't refuse any sort of chocolate.

3) Have you ever “mooned” anyone or been mooned? Only by my dear family.

4) When you were younger, did you ever use a fake I.D.? not my culture.

5) What is the most recent book you read about writing? The only book I have read, or read most of, is Stephen King's and I thought it was pretty good. I just wish it came from someone who was a better writer himself. I was given a copy of "Writing down the bones" and thought it appalling. I've flipped thru a lot of books on writing and find there's a lot of stuff that whines and groans about the painful, difficult process of writing, and heck, I do it because I like it. Why do it otherwise? If it makes you feel bad, you should find another hobby--or maybe a shrink. And there's only so much you can read--like the ad says, just do it.

I agree - I've forbidden myself from buying any more writing books (m)

so I can concentrate more on writing than reading about it. As for writing being difficult, once I've got a good idea the writing just flows, but it's coming up with the idea that's hard for me.

My five

1) Is there anything about you that needs a “tune-up”?

depends on who's doing the tune-up

2) What’s your favorite candy bar?

Anything with chocolate in it

3) Have you ever “mooned” anyone or been mooned?

No and no

4) When you were younger, did you ever use a fake I.D.?

Honey, when I was young you didn't need ID. (Seriously, I don't remember ever being asked for an ID.)

5) What is the most recent book you read about writing?

Does Novel and Short Story Writer's Market 2002 count?
