Friday 5 (and happy b-day, Mac!)
1) What piece of clothing have you owned the longest?
My mom still has the little dress I was baptized in...circa 1973, I think. As for what I have...I still have a jacket that I got in jr. high (mid-80s).
2) How do you like your eggs cooked?
Usually scrambled.
3) Where did you see your last live performance?
Uh...Kezar Pavilion (really just a glorified high school gym), December 98 in San Francisco. (Yep, it's been a while.) Last time David Bowie played the West Coast, I think.
4) If you had dated one of the Village People, would it have been the Indian, G.I., Construction Worker, Cop, or the Cowboy?
Probably the Indian, if only for the feathers.
5) Finish this sentence: I would have more time to write if I didn’t...
...have to be stuck in the middle of a job search.

happy birthday Mac, here's 5 (m)
1) What piece of clothing have you owned the longest? Well, let's see .... I have a kimono and a scarf, now both taken over by my daughter, that I bought in thrift stores in the mid 70's. (Yeah, yeah, I know some of you weren't even twinkles in your mommy and daddy's eyes, then. Shuddup).
2) How do you like your eggs cooked? Scrambled, only, I've never eaten a boiled, fried or poached egg in my life and I seriously doubt I will.
3) Where did you see your last live performance? I went to a performance of Orphee et Euridice at the University of Md last week, fab stuff with baroque dancing. Very genteel.
4) If you had dated one of the Village People, would it have been the Indian, G.I., Construction Worker, Cop, or the Cowboy? Mac dear, I think I need to explain something about this particular group to you ...
5) Finish this sentence: I would have more time to write if I didn’t... need absolute silence and solitude.
Oops
OK, memory's already starting to act wonky on me. The Kezar show was in 97, not 98...but I'd forgotten that I'd seen the Stones at the Oakland Arena in January of 99. So I guess that's the last live performance I caught.
Guess I need to get out more often. That's the problem when you live a 2-3 hours drive from the nearest Big City.
Ramona
I didn't say they'd want to date us girls...hehehe (nt)
And you make the board more fun!!! (nt)

Okay, I don't speak French but I found a website that translates. So this better mean "thank you"!

Thanks Ramona...I've got that problem (m)
