Monday's Moans or Moments (m)
Sometimes you just need to vent a little and you'll feel better or you're having one of those special moments in your life and you want to share it with your pals. Well, here's the place.
We're listening!!!

Finally, rain in the southland and a Full moon Intention!
My skin and sinuses were taking a beating, not to mention my poor plants and trees. What a great day to get some writing done.
It's a full moon tonight girls, dispell the things that haven't been working in the last month, and state your intentions for the new month, and we'll all put our MOJO on your intention with "And so it is!"
My intention is to maintain my focus on the three stories I have faith in, and submit them by the end of Feburuary. And, I'm still working on dispelling all the anger and resentment I have toward my VERY narcissistic mother-in-law..."God grant me the strength..." who is to visit in the next two months or so...ugh, ugh, ugh!! If it wouldn't piss off the hubby, I write out my anger, but I KNOW I can't hide her character well. Maybe I'll do it anyway, and learn something on the journey...we may be on to something here...Thanks for the help!! Eyewrite, now I've gone loopy!
Good luck girls! kat
Not loopy, Kat...
Family can make any sane person lose it!
Take a deep breath and meditate on this: People cannot annoy you unless you choose to let them annoy you.
(And if you meet success on that, please share your secret!)
Happy shiny Monday, Eyewrite
Kat, you keep me motivated (m)
And I love your ability to focus on your plans and do it!!! And best of luck when your mother-in-law comes to visit. It does help to write out your anger…just don’t share that particular story with your hubby. LOL
Hugs,
Mac
Since you're feeling loopy already, how about a fairy tale (m)
where the evil queen ends up with a nasty rash on her face from looking in the mirror too much (symbolic of her narcissistic tendency, right?) and her son, the handsome prince, and his lovely princess ride off into the sunset, leaving her with a bottle of foul-smelling skin ointment and a silk mask to wear outside her bedroom so she won't scare the servants...lol

Support and fanasty...what more could a gal need...maybe chocolate...cheers! kat
I have a moan and a moment (m)
First, with the good news. I’m going to start working 4-day weeks so I’ll have an extra day to work on my writing. As it is right now, I “try” to write at night and usually a little on Sat (in between grocery shopping, cleaning house and washing clothes) and part of the day on Sunday. So I’m so excited about getting more to time to do it!!!
Now for my gripe. Have you heard about the ABC’s auction that’s selling Rose Red items? (If not, it’s at http://auctions.images.go.com/Images/I-Catalog/abcauctions/Categories/All.htm) Well, I had my eye on this rose paperweight and I’ll be darned if it hasn’t gone sky high. The way it’s looking, I might be able to afford the Costume Dept. Hangers and Bags-LOL.

Hey Mac (m)
Great news about your four day week!! Write away!
Sorry to hear about the item, soaring but a coat hanger not so bad lol
Hang in there girlfriend!
Maria
That's great about your job! As for the paperweight (m)
I have 2 words for you - outrageous! ;) I can't believe people are really willing to pay that much. I missed the show, though, how was it? I like a good Stephen King once in a while.
Hey Maria (m)
Just think if I win the coat hanger, I'll have a great conversation piece...hehehe
Hugs,
Mac
Rose Red is really good so far (m)
but there's still one more night of the mini-series (it concludes on Thursday).
I agree with you. I can't believe the prices are willing to pay.
Mac
