High Five here...

1) If you had to give up one of your senses, which one would it be?

Smell. I already lived without it for a few decades. It came back about 50% recently and I had no idea what I'd been missing. I also figured out how smell and taste were linked because I could taste more food when my sense of smell came back.

2) Are you “stubborn as a mule”, “crazy as a loon” or “slippery as an eel”?

It's a toss up. I'm stubborn as a crazy loon, or crazy as a stubborn mule. Which amount to the same thing - watch out! :)

3) What writing instrument do you use the most?

Fingertips on keyboard, followed by pen on paper.

4) When’s the last time you bought a plant for your home or office?

Last month, which reminds me I've got to repot it. It needs a bigger home.

5) How do you handle a problematic character or scene in your story?

Kill 'em, write 'em out, have an argument with them, sit and cry, have a drink, start writing something else...

Happy day after Friday and have a good weekend, Eyewrite

Too much "V-day" chocolate and Cabernet...(but damn good).

1) If you had to give up one of your senses, which one would it be?

Taste...I could benefit from eating less chocolate and drinking a good Cabernet.

2) Are you “stubborn as a mule”, “crazy as a loon” or “slippery as an eel”?

"Crazy loon! I just couldn't hold her, and if it weren't for her bad-ass attitude, we could have resolved this thing!" (does that answer the question?)

3) What writing instrument do you use the most?

A Pentel A65 rechargeable .05 lead mechanical pencil.

4) When’s the last time you bought a plant for your home or office?

Last year when we moved into our new home, I had a corner of the house in a muted light just screaming for a VERY large fern!

5) How do you handle a problematic character or scene in your story?

Shoot it, burn it, flush it, bury it...rewrite, offer it up to my critique group, rewrite, post it on the SS board, rewrite, give it to my "most bestest editor friend" and then breath...(*wink*). (most bestest is a joke, son!)

Jeez, eyewrite...

You and I must be twins separated at birth...Meet you half-way along the Pacific Coast...Maybe Ashland, Oregon for their writer's get-away...I hear it's really cool, and great running there. Not as wet as Portland...

Too funny! kat

Heather's 5

1) If you had to give up one of your senses, which one would it be?

Smell, although I'd hate to have to give up any of them.

2) Are you “stubborn as a mule”, “crazy as a loon” or “slippery as an eel”?

Definitely stubborn as mule.

3) What writing instrument do you use the most? Pen, I have notebooks and scribbled-on pieces of paper all over the apartment.

4) When’s the last time you bought a plant for your home or office?

A couple weeks ago, some forced tulips & crocus. Last week I found a houseplant in the dumpster when I took out my trash, so I took it home. Don't know why they threw it away, it was beautiful.

5) How do you handle a problematic character or scene in your story?

I shelve it and work on something else. I'll usually get an idea within a few days. If I keep obssessing over it I'll often get an idea in a dream. Either way, it seems like the resolutions come from my subconscious. I just have to let it do its thing.
