Tiny Tuesday

Hi everybody. Since we had so much fun with the alphabet exercise of planting three words into our piece a few weeks ago, let's continue that with the letters D, E, and F. Try to place these into your Tiny Tuesday in any order you wish: dandelion, Emmeline, and funky. Remember, have fun, and happy writing! Sammi

Awww, reminds me of Heathcliff & Cathy (m)

except well, Duwayne seems a lot less dark and brooding and a lot more nice. Well done Sammi!

Sweet story, Jade (m)

I liked how you opened the story with a memory of Grandmother and closed it with Emmeline’s tribute to her. It was interesting that her cousins considered her an outcast. Not growing up around her grandmother, surely they didn’t expect her come take care of the grandmother when she was sick. But anyway, I think you did a great job. I enjoyed your TT!

Nice job, Maria (m)

You were very smooth in hooking us into the story. Of course, I was curious who she was and why he was following her. But I enjoyed the humor and the hints of romance between these two.

How neat, Sammi (m)

A love between two that even death can’t part. I hope you plan to use these two in a longer piece. I like what you’ve got going here.

Eyewrite, you are on a roll (m)

with tackling these tough subjects. Your TT was absolutely great. “Uncle” Emmeline was very vivid to me and I felt passion for this character. I loved how the niece was so accepting (children usually are, aren’t they?) of what adults consider strange behavior.

Do you plan to expand this one? Submit it somewhere? I think you should.

Mac

PS... Had I not read “Hiding My Candy” by Lady Chablis, I would’ve questioned how Emmeline goes swimming. LOL
