since I'm here (m)
1) How many clocks are in your home? At least 6, but not all of them work.
2) What nickname do you have for a family member or friend that’s funny or unusual? well, I used to call my ex-husband Piggy Lumpkin, my current husband is Mr. Butt and my daughter is Chickie Baby (much to her embarrassment, she's 17. It's because when she was a newborn she used to sound like a chicken crooning on its nest). Shall I go on? (Just for the record, my brother calls me Nippy and my husband calls me Butt Lady).
3) Do you use shower gel, soap or other when you shower? Shower gel, and I have some sort of slimy stuff in a bottle, tho I don't believe in using too much of either on my skin.
4) If you could ask a dead person a question, what would it be? What's it LIKE? is there sex after death? what do you eat?
5) What’s the last excuse you made for NOT writing? I should go to bed (well, it was midnight).

1) How many clocks are in your home?
Well counting the ones on the stove, stereo, and ect...over 10 4 of them are just normal clocks that are hung on the wall
2) What nickname do you have for a family member or friend that’s funny or unusual?
Well none really but in High School my 2 best friends and I wrote notes to each other. We had nicknames that we signed instead of our names. I was Rea, and they were Lee and May. this if the teacher got the not they would not know who it was from or to.
3) Do you use shower gel, soap or other when you shower?
Depends on what mood I am in.
4) If you could ask a dead person a question, what would it be?
Well since I do Genealogy it would be... Who is all in your family, starting with you parents and working back?
5) What’s the last excuse you made for NOT writing?
That was yesterday. I got a phone call tell me that a family member is slowly passing on.
Have a mystical day,

Five... of something...
1) How many clocks are in your home?
Six plus assorted watches, and not counting the clocks on the computers (yes, plural! don't ask!)
2) What nickname do you have for a family member or friend that’s funny or unusual?
My dad is Mr. Rogers (but not to his face) because he looks like and behaves like Mr. Rogers. (Won't you be my neighbor?) We call one dog Mr. B (his name is Brutus and he's a 9lb Miniature Pinscher) which makes one five-year-old wet her pants laughing.
3) Do you use shower gel, soap or other when you shower?
Soap.
4) If you could ask a dead person a question, what would it be?
What do you do all day? Do you get bored?
5) What’s the last excuse you made for NOT writing?
Gotta cram object-oriented programming concepts in my head. Oh, and read "Hiding My Candy" by Lady Chablis, as recommended by Mac the other day.
Have a great weekend! Eyewrite
My Five
1) How many clocks are in your home?
Hmm... three in the living room (that sounds excessive, but one is the VCR, one is an antique that chimes on the quarter hour and one is just a plain old clock.. shall I count the answer machine too? haha); one in the kitchen; two in the bedroom; one in the office.
2) What nickname do you have for a family member or friend that’s funny or unusual?
Well my nieces and nephews call my husband Uncle Um sometimes. (long story!)
3) Do you use shower gel, soap or other when you shower?
Body Wash! by Caress.
4) If you could ask a dead person a question, what would it be?
It would be my dad and I would ask him how things are "up" there and if he's seen his newest grandson. :-)
5) What’s the last excuse you made for NOT writing?
Too busy/too tired/errands/baby .. usually one of these. :D

1) How many clocks are in your home?
Seven, but besides the one on the mantel most are the digital type on appliances.
2) What nickname do you have for a family member or friend that’s funny or unusual?
I call my husband Chico because one time he accidentally cut our dog’s ear while trimming some matted hair. So after that when I see him with scissors or a knife or anything sharp, I always say, “Chico, don't cut me, man!!!”
3) Do you use shower gel, soap or other when you shower?
Shower gel. My favorite is Bath and Body’s Orange Blossom. Smells yummy enough to drink!!!
4) If you could ask a dead person a question, what would it be?
I’d love to know if they can see us and try to communicate with the living after they die.
5) What’s the last excuse you made for NOT writing?
I convinced myself that I had to have to a clean desk to write. So I spent an hour filing stuff away and wasted valuable time that I should’ve spent finishing the short story I was writing.
Good nicknames, e!!! (nt)
Ah yes, the good ole headache excuse! (nt)
Heather's five (m)
1) How many clocks are in your home?
2 because I don't like them. But my daughter has at least a half dozen watches and she's only 4. Yikes!
2) What nickname do you have for a family member or friend that’s funny or unusual?
My dad is "Hey Jose" because when we were kids we thought he looked Mexican. Then a few years ago he went to Tiajuana and the Mexicans thought he was Mexican, until he opened his mouth. He can't speak Spanish to save his life. lol
3) Do you use shower gel, soap or other when you shower?
Soap
4) If you could ask a dead person a question, what would it be?
Do you know where my great grandmother is? I really need to talk to her about this recipe she never wrote down.
5) What’s the last excuse you made for NOT writing?
I had to clean the kitchen first.
Sorry to hear (m)
about the phone call and your family member that's sick.
