Hey Ladies-

I got a great book this weekend called A Real Boy by Christina Adams, who among other things, is a host on an internet radio station called Autism One Radio.

I am slowly getting thru the archives and it seems there is a lot of info, by familiar authors, Drs & professionals.

Enjoy!

I have been checking out that station for a while. It does have alot of good stuff on it. It tends to lean a bit heavily toward the diet end of things and some autism issues/options aren't covered as well as I would like, but over all it is a good service. It is definitely parent heavy on Point of view too. But a great start.

SOme of the airings are hard to understand. There is one lady scheduled on Fridays that I like. She only does about a 1/2 hour or so, but it is a nice well rounded program she does. And short enough that I have time to listen, lol.

Chantal (can't place the last name right now) who wrote autism spectrum disorders has a tuesday spot that is usually long but she really gets a nice variety of people on there. If you remember I recomended a book "Finding Ben". If you go through the archives she has a interview with the mom one week and Ben another. I think that is how I discovered Autism One in the first place.

I am glad you posted this. I don't know why I never did. Bad, bad Renee.
