My Mother's Day "Moment"

Out of the blue, our almost 5 year old, Claire, presented me with 5 dandelions that she'd picked herself, and proceeded to tell me "Happy Mother's Day" almost as clearly as would an NT child. She did this on her own, without prompting, explanation, etc.

She got it...for the first time ever, she understood something about a holiday.

Considering that she is "moderately" autistic, has significant speech/language delays, and suffers from sensory integration dysfunction, this was my first glimpse of her acting like a normal little girl.
