I went to the store today to find some chamomile for Nathan...they only had the drops, and I really didn't want to spend that much money on something that I would end up throwing out because he didn't like the taste!!

I did find something called "Pedi-Active" by Nature's plus. It has LECI-PS and DMAE. I looked both of these up on the computer and did some research. Sounds pretty good.....anyone else try these??? They come in chewables...berry flavor. And he liked them. I have noticed some change in him, even though I found out from my research that it can take a few weeks to see any noticeable changes.

He's speaking in clearer, complete sentences. And he's a bit calmer. He does seem more focused too. It's quite an amazing change from this morning.....CAUSE HE WAS CLIMBING THE WALLS EARLIER!!! LOL

Has anyone used this or something similiar??

We tried the Attend Strategy Pack last year with Cassian. It didn't change anything for him, but it did seem to have good research to back it up. Brains are all very different with individualized chemical responses. I think you just have to go ahead and try these things and see what they do for your individual child.

Be careful in taking data because there is a human tendency to want something to work and not count information that negates your hypothesis. I would choose some specific variables to watch (activity level, anxious behaviors, self stimming, etc.), and then over a period of weeks take systematic notes. If you aren't systematic with your observations, you can end up with a false impression. Good luck!
