I stumbled on this board recently and could not believe what I was reading. All the PDD posts sound JUST LIKE two of my kids!!! I finally wrote down about a dozen problems one of my kids was having to take to his well-child check-up, and the pediatrician said probably PDD. I was going to write similar letter to ped about dd in a few weeks, but I think we're just going to start the same behavior therapy for her without waiting for ped to advise.
I just can't get over how excited I am to finally get a diagnosis and to see other people in the same boat. Since the kids seem so normal in many ways, it's hard to get doctors or family/friends to believe there's anything wrong. It's such a relief to get validation and find solutions.
I can't wait to learn more from you all!

I understand completely, that is exactly how I felt when I first came to this board. Now I'm in the process of getting a diagnosis, and hopefully getting some things under control. It is definitely great to find people who understand. :)

I still love it and I have been here (ahem) a long time. I have started to feel old lately.
Actually it has been probably about 5-6 years. I have met some of my closest friends on this board and it is a wonderful place.
Welcome and tell us more about your kiddo's
