Eval. tomorrow

well, it's here - the date that I've had on my calendar for 11 months!
I can't belive that I've been worrying for 1 year about my DD and I might be able to know whats what tomorrow at 10 am. I am excited about it - but have a really sick feeling that I just can't shake. My DH doesn't seem to feel quite as nervous ( big shocker there - lol) -he just thinks she has a delay and thats all and that she will one day catch up, this seems to be the concensus from all her teachers and EI - but I have such a nagging doubt.
Thaks to all of you who answered my numerous questions and concerns. I will post tomorrow after the eval.
thanks!

Good luck. I hope all goes well. Please do post tomorrow. I think regardless of the information you hear it will be a traumatic experience for you. THis is always a big stressful event for me and regardless of diagnosis or no, it really affects you.
Plan today to do something nice for yourself tomorrow evening. Buy stuff for a special dinner, something to keep you from obsessing all weekend about what he said. I know I obsess if I don't have something else to think about.
Renee
Good luck,
Try to get some sleep tonight. Tomorow, be sure to bring plenty of snacks and drinks, and a few favorite toys or books (for both of you!), for the waiting room.
Please let us know how it goes.

Good luck today. Will you get the results right away? I remember it taking a little while for the results, but if you are getting them today, Good luck. Good luck no matter what. You are absolutely doing the right thing, as with our kinds of concerns you don't want to wait. And the best best thing about the many evals we have had is that we have always gotten a clearer and clearer picture of our son and his strengths and weaknesses, which has meant we could make much more informed decisions about how to help him! And that has made such a difference.
As others have said, these are stressful events, no matter what the outcome. And your child's education will always be an ongoing process and experiment, no matter what you find out today! We will be thinking of you.

I just wanted you to know I'll be thinking of you today. I can tell how worried you are. We've all been there. Everyone else has already given you good adivce. So just take deep breaths and stay open minded. And I hope you can do something nice for yourself tonight, like Renee said, a nice meal, a chocolate treat, whatever.
Good luck. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Hugs!
