LR? Anyone else? Can anyone give a long term recomendation

I recently was convinced by a friend (who also has ASD kids) to sign up to use these products at least on a trial basis. I am not usually into multilevel marketting type stuff but I like these products or the idea behind it.

Basically it is a bunch of products but my favorite is the cleaning and self care products. They are all natural, mostly made from tea tree oil (melaleuca) and none of the usual chemicals. There have been certain things in the house I just cannot get clean and self care products at Sprouts are outragious and not alot of kid choices so I am trying it out.

Just got the first shipment today and I went nuts cleaning. Sorry if too much info, but out kids toilet has had hard water stains at the bottom for months. I used one of the cleaners for 1/2 hour scrubbing. It isn't perfect but it is MUCH better than anything else I have used. I was very pleased with how the products worked especially the laundry.

However, my one concern is afterward I had a monster headache. The odor from the cleaner I used on the toilet was strong so it could have been that. Or it could have been that I worked for a number of hours straight and was quite hungry when done. But it felt more like a chemical type headache. These aren't supposed to contain chemicals though.

Anyone else use them? Is it worth my while to use them. Mostly I am trying to get all chemicals out of the house as possible. I have noticed a big difference with the food and I would like to not have them soaking chemicals in through thier skin too and see if that helps.

Thanks,

Renee

I haven't used them but I remember years ago before I was even married someone tried to talk me into selling them. Tea tree oil does smell very strong. I put some with water in a spray bottle and spray down our shower after we use it because tea tree is antifungal. I make dh put it on his feet for athletes feet and toe nail fungus. His nail fungus is gone now btw so the stuff really works.

Renee,

Even though the Tea tree oil cleaners and care products are free of the usual chemicals they do have natural ones in them. You can be allergic or sensitive to those as well. You might try watering it down or if it doesn't bother anyone else you can just wear a mask when cleaning. I have a reaction to eucalypus oil, so we don't have any of that in the house anymore, even tho it was great for calming DH and Weston w/ deep muscle message.

HTH!

You could be right on the smell part. I am actually undersensitive to smell but this one has a strong one that really affects me. If I put on vents it is better. It actually seems to have a bit of a pinesol type smell with the tea tree oil.

I have to say one day later I am really enjoying how clean the house is and how it smells clean. Overall the cleaners work well and my skin doesn't feel dried out like it usually would. Rather feel better than usual and not itchy. I also got thier soap and such.

Sure. I'll do your windows when I get to mine, lol. Just did 2 bathrooms and kitchen yesterday and it took hours. Today.......Living room!
