Kivrin starts theraputic preschool on Friday in an excellent district under a qualification of "developmentally delayed" and referred for testing by the speech pathologist and occupational therapist. Her goals are mostly social (initiating play, making a friend, ect.) at this point until all the testing is done and then we have IEP meeting #2, to be followed in April by Kindergarten Transition IEP Meeting (#3). I'm really not sure I can go through this process 3 times in a year. My head might explode. There's still no dx anywhere but the teacher and I are at least both on the same page and thinking aspie. She's met Kivrin and read all the reports and doctor's notes and that's what she saw too, so I feel like less of a loon now.
Does this sound pretty much like a standard situation?
