Ugh here we go!

Josh started off okay with school but now he is starting some of his old tricks.

The main one is not bringing home important work such as tests or handing in work. The excuse is that it is in the locker. He had brought home a math test which had to be signed but the teacher handed it back because I forgot to sign it. But failed to bring it back note for that from teacher.
Sciene paper not handed in. from 2 days ago. Alegiedly in his locker.

The proplem is is thta he lies about where these papers are. But then when you ask again after trying to give him benefit if the doubt you get a different story. Right now because of the lie and because he did not hand in his assignment. We took away screen time (TV, computer) till he finds the paper and hands it in. Josh is not happy about this. But he was told this yesterday and lost TV and today still not handed it in. So now he is tantruming, not violent just crying and accusing us over being mean. Oh well.

I did right a note bacck to the teacher to check the infamous locker and desk to see if the papers are in there. We will see.

The positive is that the teacher did not wait till 5 papers later and that she is making us aware right away. Meeet the Teacher is in 2 weeks so I plan to talk to her. And see how we can prevent this from happening.
I know maybe need to talk to her sooner but DH did . She actually called last week so they talked and DH warned her of the potential problems and the talked a little about the dx. And DH said she sounded pleasent and he told her where Josh's strengths seemed to lie plus the over focusing etc.

I just want the teachers to form their own opinions with out us well creating them for the teachers.

But once the end of the month meeting happens then we will hopefully see what happens.
