Did I ever tell you about what a beautiful singing voice Nathan has?

Dear Evelyn,

Maybe it's a second-born thing. My boys sing SpongeBob Songs together. I am also not a musical scholar, but it is clear that the little guy knows a bit more about rhythm and melody. (In addition, you don't need to study music much to learn that SpongeBob music is not the top of the art, no matter how much talent your child has.)

If it's not about birth order, I wonder if it is because the older guy seems to have a lot more difficulty with autitory information.

Hi Evelyn, I hope things are going well at your house with the in-laws lol. I remember your post.

Well, all I can say is I am dealing with somewhat the same thing as you are with the singing, but with music instead lol.

We have guitars galore in our house, amps, drums etc. Over the years I have noticed the sounds bothered the boys (it almost was like a build-up, if that even makes sense, as it doesnt make sense to me...), lately tho, chris can't stand it, so I don't know how much longer they can play without headphones or stopping or something.

Anyway, we offer music to our kids, and they don't have any lessons unless tony's deciding he's picking up a guitar and starts playing and wants to teach the boys something about music. Christopher has started band this year tho in school, and it seems like its going well.

They just jump on these things sometimes, and believe me, they play horribly LOLOLOLOL. The neighborhood kids do the same thing. ARGHHHHH its bad.

But you know its fun, its expressive, it makes them feel good, wether there good at it or not.]

Here's some pic's of my boys taken a few years ago. I love these pics, and I have always wanted to show pictures of my boys...

It works if you copy just the address and put it in the address line.

Cute pics!

We have a number of instruments around here too. Not the full drum kit though. Dave wants one and my auditory issues would just go nuts!

Emily is starting guitar lessons tomorrow (gift from grandma). Cait is in band this year and learning music. Mike and Cait both took music therapy last summer and I really want to try that again. It would be GREAT for Mike but he can't handle regular lessons. I so wish I could get those for him. Maybe when I am rich I will pay for MT again and have them teach him guitar as part of it.
