I am so sorry for your son. Hopefully all will be well soon. But positive is that your son did keep a cool head and thought to go back to school for help.Poop on the coach who should have known better. But this also keep pointing to the resilliance of these kids. And why Josh did well with his broken leg and though out his life with a clubfoot. It is just a matter of fact for them and they know it can not be changed so why dwell on it or even use it as an excuse for why something can nto be done.
I think once your son does feel better he will probably remember the details of the car and driver better that we can. Right now he is under a daze and the influence of some pretty good pain killers. Remember the old aspie memory and good recall.
Wow! Poor kid!!! I hope he's okay and that some of those casual observers learn some lessons. I can't believe the coach would treat it so casually, either. Good grief!
Oh my gosh! That is so scary! I hope that your son is able to remember some more of the details when he's feeling better. That driver definetely needs to be brought to justice. I can't believe how casual the other adults around him acted about the whole thing. I will keep you all in my prayers.

OMG your story upset me so much. To think that no-one helped him!

Oh Tasha, I am so sorry and keeping your whole family in our prayers. I hope your son feels better soon.
All of us who have kids who are "runners" know exactly what you are feeling. Shame on the bystanders and coach too.
Hugs and prayers to you all.

What a nightmare. P&PT's headed your way.
