Ok, all the boys went back to school today, at least the ones that are in school. I only got 1 phone call!!! Wes was a bit anxious this morning because he is in a different pod at school. He kept repeating, oh no, I'm in the yellow pod, not the blue pod...I was in blue pod, now I'm in the yellow pod. So, he get's to school, is there maybe a minute by my clock, when the phone rings. The secretary tells me she has him there and that he is having trouble breathing, he wants to use his inhaler. He doesn't use an inhaler anymore, that was only during a really bad cold/cough thing that lasted a few months. He was having a little anxiety attack and his chest was getting all tight on him. We talked, he understood and went back to class!!!! Yeee Haaa!
Ok, on a side note: Other ds, age 7, ADHD, DD, and Visually Impaired. Probaby autistic, haven't had him evaluated because with everything else it is hard to tell and he is getting really good services right now. THE BUS FORGOT TO PICK HIM UP!!!!!! He wasn't home by 5:15 so I called transportation, (He is transported by the intermediate school district to a school that has a program that works for him,) there was a mix up and nobody went to the school to get him. WHAT!!?? He didn't get home until 5:30!
Ya win some, ya lose some.

Carey,
Both you and Wes handled that little panic attack very well.

UPDATE:
today was Wesleys Birthday. I think with the excitement of that, and just going back to school, well, bad combination. It was a complete meltdown when he got home from school, there was no understanding why he was crying but we got through it, and he is ok now, I really hope tomorrow is better.
Bus situation on other ds: Today he got home early, TOO EARLY!!! They pulled him out of his class 45 minutes early to bus him home! AHHHHHHH WTF! Who do they think they are that they can make a decision like that without even contacting me? Tomorrow has got to get better, it really has to.
