My son who is 10 and in the 4th grade has started running away at homework time. He is in the process of being diagnosed with AS. I cant seem to get help fast enough. I have two other small children and cant go chasing him all over the neighborhood when he decides to take off. Any suggestions??

Just to add that homework in the morning can be a great solution (HA!!! One of the benefit's of homeschooling... NO HOMEWORK!!!) and for my ds, an evening of relaxation, rest and recovery and good night's sleep often meant that he flew through homework in the morning before school. And he had a very early bus as well.
