so, Weston's (6th grade) newest class is Latin. He's loving it. (who knew!) seems that it makes more sense to him than English-- it has rules and doesn't break them. great. at least it's a bright spot in the whole middle school thing. He's only a week into the new quarter, I hope it continues!

Here's the beauty of Latin. It can help with understanding English as much of English etymology is originated in Latin. And you're right the rules don't change. Yea Weston!!!

It's hard to follow his conversations anyway, but now he's throwing in Latin-- boy am I ever confused! LOL! however, he grins at me when he does it so I know it's not one of his weird stimmy things (which is something he does when he's having a hard day-- he just breaks into gibberish in the middle of of a conversation).
