My son has been in the infant & toddler program through our county and is transitioning to the 3+ for preschool now.

I was very nervous at my first meeting. I took the special ed law book with me ( Wright's checked out from the library)


I left my dh at home because he is just too passive and would agree to anything just to keep the peace. The team requested that I bring my child but I thought that was crazy- how

First of all, if the autism class is a public facility and it is one of your options then you can see it.

Im pretty green as well, my daughter actaully just had her eval by the school system today to see if she qualifies for an iep. so im afraid im no help except to say dont be afraid to step on some toes !! Youve gotta most definitly speak up for your son :)
