This is only my opinion, but I would definetly vaccinate.
I think it is sometimes about balancing all of the vaccinations.
research, research research. There are options by which you can vaccinate safely with little mercury exposure. But you need to know your options and have a pediatrician who is willing to work with you.
If I had the time again, I would not vaccinate wily-nily as I did back then. I woudl pick an choose: I would know the ingredients they were injecting into my child (Christine, whee is that link again?), and I would break up trhe shots to minimise the contaminants.
Just my 2¢...

Well I have two boys with ASD and #1 was vacc'ed up to age four (minus the 2nd mmr) and #2 up to age 2 and no mmr at all. I do not worry about measles, mumps or rubella as I had all three as a child as did all my friends, and we are fine. Better chance of them getting hurt in a car accident (God forbid though).
It is just my opinion, but you really need to look at the various vaccines that are put in a child's body these days. Many are really superfluous or aren't as effective as the pharmaceutical companies would have you believe. Just last year there was a Chicken Pox outbreak at ds#1's class, all the kids who caught it were vaccinated TWICE, and Liam only vaccinated once against it never caught it.
The only vaccine I have allowed into ds#1 since stopping 4 years ago is the polio booster as it's a dead, single virus, no thimerosol. There are certain diseases that children do need to be protected from, I am specifically thinking of the killers from the 19th and mid 20th century, (polio, diphtheria etc)
Still DD (14 months) has not been vaccinated at all, and it will be at the 2 year old checkup before she gets anything, if anything at all.

We have vacc'ed all 4 of our kids. Dh's grandfather suffered from polio and has never been able to walk due to this. For us it wasn't something we were willing to risk. My third son is the only one who had the ill effects. He had his 15 month shots (mmr was one) and then lost his speech completely until he was 3.5. I would say that just because one had problems we have determined that in our family the others having a greater chance did not happen.
We opted to not get the chickenpox vacc. and all 4 hadthe chickenpox. Another thing to consider if your children are not high risk for respiratory illnesses is that the flu vacc. uses mercury. We do not get these for our kids.
Anyway, good luck with whatever you decide!!

I know this is a really hard question.
We did not immunize either of my two boys and they are both on the spectrum. My 7yo had Aspergers and my 5yo has moderate/severe classic autism. We began to immunize them at age 3 and since that time they have been fully immunized with NO regression. I know some people swear it causes autism but we are an example of how it did not help at all. I also did not eat tuna, get the flu shot or any other toxic exposures when pregnant with either child.
HTH.

I am expecting our 4th child in June, and will not be vaccinating this child "on schedule"-
