POOP!!!
I took Roan yesterday (my NT toddler but with sensory seeking behaviours and a dodgy left foot), and as I predicted she doesn't qualify for services....shocker!!
I knew she wouldn't, but I still received lots of crappy "advice" as to help the constant nursing, the sensory seeking and the left foot that sticks way out....sigh.
Once again I was fed the "developmentally appropriate" line as well as the "give it two months" comment. Yeah, well heard all of that when Cian was in ST at age two; guess what, he has the same IEP goals then as now. I just feel here we are again; I know what I'm talking about, and the governmental agencies are fulfilling the letter of the law.
If I can get the HMO to get the boys OT through the one provider then I shall ask for a private consult for Roan. Man I hate the friggin' system,....just not "off" enough!
