Okay I haven't really posted much about this, but Chris has an appt this friday with a Ped Neuro at UCSF to determine and rule out Sturge-Weber Syndrome.
Here is a link in case your interested.

Oh god I am so sorry, what a nightmare!! I wish was there to drive you, I'm a demon on hills...seriously, is there any way you can get to MIL's without driving and have her drive you to the appts? I am just thinking if there is some way of reducing *your* anxiety and stress about this, so that you can better deal with Chris. I know my ability to accommodate the kind of careful, detailed explanations that DS needs with patience and humour deteriorates rapidly as my stress levels rise....
Once you have the changes sorted out - and focus on getting *you* happy, not Chris! - then hopefully you can have a new schedule and new set of explanations for Chris. I find my Aspie can sometimes cope with *big* changes to routine better than *little* changes, particularly if they are explained ahead of time, so hopefully it will be the same for you and the trip will be less stressful than you envisage.
You aren't alone, we're here, albeit only in a cyber sense, *hugs*

No suggestions, just {{{{{hugs}}}}}.
Yes you are both right.
OH Lainie,
Hi guys, were back.
Anandhir I am so sorry, I never got this message as I got off the computer and
Oh my gosh, Lainie.
Lainie,
I kept thinking of "Mr Bean's holiday" when I read the last part of your post and I would have been laughing were I not so horrified.
Holy mother of God! I can't believe the train took off with him and they wouldn't make accomodations. I am speechless. I would have been beside myself.
I am glad the doc sounds like a keeper. it woudl be horrible to go all that way to meet a dud. I really hope this weekend marks the start of some real answers for Chris.

wow! what a weekend! I'm so glad you left your cell phone--Weston would have freaked out.
I'm glad the Doc was good-- sounds like a very good fit.

What a wild story! This is the stuff of family legends, to be told into eternity. So glad that everything came out all right and that the doc was great. Hoping for good news with the MRI. Best wishes,

OMG Lainie, the meltdowns probably felt nothing when compared to the train incident. Yes, we will meet next time when you make a visit. Glad things worked out well at the end.
