I don't have any other children to compare gabe too...just other 3 year olds that are in his room....and they are all verbal and everytime I walk into gabe's room they all yell....gabe your mommy's here...and he always comes to me...he will also go to anyone of my family members (my mom owns the daycare) that go in his room durning the day....but he doesn't ever acknoldge the other parents that come in the room...he does not

"I am ready for some answers...I just wish I knew other kids his age to compare him to...his dad says it is normal to he sits and spins the DVD's in their case...or continuosly pulls the DVD's out of the entertainment center so he can sit and look at the booklets inside...or sit and watch TV while slamming the door to the entretainment center over and over again...despite being told to stop..."

I am sorry you are going through this. I just wanted to say that I totally understand. Rece does these exact same things. And on top of it he rips the books every time he gets. It is very frustrating. We are also in the process of finding answers. I hope you find something at the neuro appt.

Man it really irks me when I hear things like ST's or other unqualified professionals say that there's no way your child could be on the spectrum


They are not doctors and have no right to give you their "medical" opinion.
