Okay, good new first: After working my fingers to a bloody pulp at my current job, I interview for a job with another company on Monday and yesterday by lunch I had an offer.

Congrats on the new job! that's wonderful!

I'm sorry the teacher doesn't believe Everett or you. That really stinks! Just make sure that Everett knows you believe him. He needs to know that someone is on his side when he tells the truth.

Great news about the job! I hope this eases some of the stress. I know you were concerned about the job situation.

Poor Everett can't catch a break! When he doesn't do his work he is accused of laziness. When he does it brilliantly, he is accused of plagerizm. I can understand why he wouldn't want to bother. It seems no matter what he does, the school criticizes, accuses and is generally negative. I wouldn't want to perform under those circumstances wither.

I would have four words to say to the teacher: "Benefit of the doubt". Actually I personally would use four stronger words: "innocent until proven guilty".

good luck.

I can think of four even stronger words, but I don't want to get booted off this site!
