Horrible horrible horrible day!

OK I officially give up. Liam has been getting more mouthy and defiant at home (stupid things, fighting me on bedtime rituals, acting like he's heard when he hasn't etc) so far though no physical aggression.
Now at school it's a different kettle of fish altogether; he IS physical, IS aggressive (mainly at teachers though) and today he received the worst report ever all year, (1 out of 5). The dumb @ss teacher commented how it's "frustrating" as Liam can make "better decisions." I do not know how to take that as it is looking to me that yes there is some instability again but there are triggers and stressors at school that is exacerbating his behaviours.
Much of the defiance at school is directly related to the on on one work he does in the sc classroom. He did mention his hand sometimes aches from all the work, which was interesting to me as he gets 30 mins OT consult A MONTH! I am currently fighting the hmo to get both boys OT at a ped clinic 20 mins away (as opposed to the hour they want me to drive to the children's hospital).
I have an appt with a DAN doc on the 5th and rescheuled the pdoc appt for the 2nd, so I have things to look forward to. I sense it's he's growing, it's Spring (mania time) and his teacher needs a slap in the fanny (and not the U.S kind;)

Ahhh...I feel for you. Lately has been horrible too. I just resorted to making new charts and visual cue pictures etc...anything to try to get us on a good pattern. I know at school he has been horrible too and I just want the year to end !!!!
Good Lord, Dee!
Awe, Amy you're a brick:)
Anytime, call away; I would happily die in Barnes and Nobles (once there's a Starbucks there too).
Dear Dee,
Thinking of you and Liam alot these days, 'cuz I remember those last months at last school when Malcolm was being restrained (for the first time in his entire life) WAY too much, and my question to that school was ... WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO CAUSE HIM TO NEED HIM TO BE RESTRAINED, AS HE HAS NEVER NEEDED THAT BEFORE OR ANYWHERE ELSE?
Never got better for us, but as the problems definitely were at the top (my dh still refers to that principal as "the sow" and squeals for emphasis, gotta love that man)
I do hope you can kick some butt soon, just waiting til next year doesn't seem like a good idea to me. Our kids have to know we are in their corners with their backs covered all the time, right?
(((((((hugs))))))) and stuff,
Sara
Dee Sweetie,
I can relate!
